A new tropical storm has gained strength in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The system, now known as Tropical Storm Barbara, is presently located about 300 miles east of Mexico's southern/western Mexico. Meteorologists are expecting that Barbara will continue to strengthen over the next few days.
